SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State University student-athletes combined for a conference-best 241 honorees on the Summit League Academic Honor Roll, league officials announced Tuesday. SDSU also led the league with 221 total selections as 20 student-athletes were honored as members of both cross country and track and field squads.
A total of 1,537 student-athletes were honored league-wide across 17 different sports.
To be eligible for Academic Honor Roll recognition, student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and must have used a season of competition in the sport(s) in which he or she is nominated.
