JACKS BEAT HUSKIES TO OPEN EXHIBITION ACTION

The Jackrabbit women's basketball team opened the 2021-22 season Wednesday with a 60-45 win over St. Cloud State in exhibition action at Frost Arena.
The Huskies outscored the Jacks 15-7 in the first quarter, but the Jacks went 5-for-5 to start period two and were up 28-22 at the halftime break.
SDSU used a 20-point fourth quarter to pull away from St. Cloud State. The Jackrabbit defense held the Huskies scoreless in the final 3:42 of the contest.
UP NEXT
SDSU will return to Frost November 4 for another exhibition contest, this time with Concordia St. Paul. The Jacks will open the regular season November 9 hosting Green Bay.
