South Dakota State returns to Frost to host North Dakota State and North Dakota this week after a 2-0 road trip to Kansas City and Oral Roberts.
The Jacks are 6-7 on the year and 2-0 in the Summit League. SDSU is on a three-game win streak and looks to build on that success with the Bison and Fighting Hawks this weekend.
Paige Meyer was named the Summit League Player of the Week Monday after a solid first week of conference action. The freshman averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.0 steals for the Jacks in the last two games. She ranks second on the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game.
Myah Selland averages 11.2 PPG to pace the Jacks' offense. She scored a season-high 19 at Kansas City last week.
Tori Nelson adds 9.6 points per game, followed by
Paiton Burckhard (9.5) and
Tylee Irwin (9.1).
Kallie Theisen grabs 5.4 rebounds per game while Meyer gives out 4.0 assists, both team highs.
The Bison are 5-6 in 2021-22 and 1-0 in the Summit League. They played at North Dakota last week and picked up a 67-61 win to open the conference season.
Heaven Hamling scored 14.0 points per game to lead the Bison. She also gives out a team-high 2.3 assists.
Hamling is joined in double figures by Ryan Cobbins, who adds 12.7 PPG and leads the team in rebounding with 5.8 boards on average.

- Myah Selland has scored in every appearance of her career, 93 games, and put up more than 10 points in 68 of those contests. She has played in six games this season.
- Tylee Irwin, Myah Selland and Paiton Burckhard have all scored more than 1,000 career points and tallied more than 500 career rebounds for South Dakota State. SDSU is one of just a handful of programs nationally with three or more active 1,000 points/500 rebounds players.
