TIMMER NAMED SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

SIOUX FALLS— Elisabeth Timmer has been selected as the Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday.
The sophomore from Savaneta, Aruba won the 100 Free (52.16) on day one of the Coyote Quad Duals and finished second in the 200 Free (1:55.89). On day two, she won both the 50 Free (24.09) and 200 Free (52.77) as well as anchor the winning 400 Free Relay (3:32.92) in a split of 51.97.
This is the first career weekly honor for Timmer. The Jackrabbits are back in the water Feb. 12 when they take on USD in Vermillion. Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
