VIVIER-HANNAY NAMED TO USC ALL-REGION TEAM

KANSAS CITY – South Dakota State's Gabby Vivier-Hannay was announced as a member of the 2020-21 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's All-West Region First Team.
Vivier-Hannay was named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Year. She finished the season second on the team in minutes (1,517) in a back line that surrendered only five goals. The Winnipeg, Manitoba defender was a part of 12 shutouts. Vivier-Hannay recorded two assists throughout the season. She was named Summit League Defensive Player of the Week on March 1.
The senior defender is a two-time All-Summit League selection.
She is the ninth Jackrabbit to be selected as an all-region performer by the United Soccer Coaches. Leah Manuleleua was a second team pick in 2019.
