LOGAN, Utah — Utah State controlled the possession throughout the match Sunday against South Dakota State and claimed a 3-0 victory at Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field.
Both teams came off solid victories on Thursday. The Jackrabbits previously earned a 3-2 victory at Weber State, while the Aggies had defeated No. 13 BYU in Logan by a 4-0 score.
The two sides had the same shot total through the opening 25 minutes in Sunday's meeting, despite the host Aggies holding the ball for a majority of the action. That score held as the two sides went into the halftime break.
