South Dakota State will play the second half of a two-game road trip Wednesday night at Montana State.
Both teams are 4-3 entering the matchup and are coming off a loss. The Jackrabbits most recently fell 61-41 at Washington State Monday night while the Bobcats lost 66-57 on the road at North Texas Sunday afternoon. This will be SDSU's fifth straight game away from Frost Arena.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State enters Wednesday's game at Montana State at 4-3 overall following a 61-41 loss at Washington State Monday.
- Prior to Monday's game, the Jackrabbits most recently topped then-No. 4/10 Louisville 65-55 in the team's final game of the Battle 4 Atlantis. It was SDSU's first win over a top-10 opponent since moving to Division I in the 2004-05 season.
- Two of SDSU's three losses this year have come to teams that are now ranked - Creighton (then-No. 21/21, now-No. 13/14) and UCLA (then-RV, now No. 15/17)

Paiton Burckhard leads the nation in career games played (137), Dru Gylten ranks third nationally in career assists (571) and Myah Selland ranks 13th in career field goals (635) and 17th in career points (1,709).
- Myah Selland leads the Jackrabbits in scoring (15.3 PPG), rebounds (6.4 RPG), assists (3.3 APG) and steals (1.4 SPG).
- Haleigh Timmer (9.7 PPG) and Tori Nelson (9.4 PPG) rank second and third in scoring for SDSU.
- Kallie Theisen averages 8.3 points per game, ranking fourth on the team, and leads the Jacks with a .600 field goal percentage.
