#23/24 South Dakota State will take on its first official opponent of the season Monday night when it hosts #21/21 Creighton at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits are fresh off a 2022 WNIT championship and return its top four scorers from last season.
Myah Selland's 14.3 points per game led the Jackrabbits in 2021-22.
The Bluejays reached the Elite 8 for the first time in program history a season ago with upsets over No. 8 Iowa and No. 10 Iowa State along the way. They return their three top scorers from that squad, including Sioux Falls native Emma Ronsiek (13.9 PPG)

- South Dakota State hosts No. 21 Creighton in a top-25 battle to open the 2022-23 season Monday. This matchup was mentioned by ESPN as one of the most impactful nonconference games in the NCAA this season.
- South Dakota State returns four starters and six of its top seven scorers from a season ago. That group is highlighted by the the Summit's Preseason Player of the Year Myah Selland.
