South Dakota State takes on Kansas City Wednesday in the second game of the Summit League season for both sides.
The Jackrabbits are 8-5 on the year and 1-0 in the Summit League following a narrow 83-80 win over Oral Roberts Monday night. SDSU is 5-1 at home this year and 21-1 in their last 22 games at Frost Arena, a mark that dates back to a win over Dakota Wesleyan on December 15, 2021.
Kansas City is 4-8 on the year and and 1-0 in conference action. The Roos opened the Summit season with an 82-59 loss at South Dakota. KC is 1-6 on the road.
These teams last met when SDSU beat Kansas City 94-62 to end the 2021-22 regular season at Frost Arena. The win clinched a share of the regular season Summit League title for South Dakota State.
