South Dakota State takes on St. Thomas in Summit League action at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The Jackrabbits are 10-5 on the year with a 3-0 Summit mark following a victory at Western Illinois Thursday night. SDSU is 1-2 on the road this year.
St. Thomas is 5-8 overall and 0-3 in conference games. The Tommies narrowly lost 58-56 to South Dakota Thursday night as the result of three Coyotes free throws with three seconds on the clock.
These teams last met in St. Paul during the 2021-22 conference season. The Jackrabbits won 83-42 behind 24 points from Myah Selland and 17 from Tori Nelson.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State returns to action this week with road games at Western Illinois (Thursday) and St. Thomas (Saturday).
- The Jackrabbits opened Summit League play 2-0 with wins over Oral Roberts and Kansas City in Brookings last week, then beat Western Illinois to move to 3-0 Thursday night.
- Myah Selland is the only active player in the country with at least 1,800 career points, 750 rebounds and 400 assists.
- With 997 career points, Tori Nelson is three points shy of becoming the 41st member of SDSU's 1,000-point club.

- Myah Selland averages 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game to lead the Jackrabbits. She adds 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
- Paiton Burckhard scores 10.3 points per game and Haleigh Timmer adds 9.6 points, on average.
- Nine different Jackrabbits have scored at least 10 points in at least one contest this season. Myah Selland has 12 double-digit games this year and Paiton Burckhard has 10.
- Kallie Theisen has come off the bench in all 14 games to record 6.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest.
- State was picked to win the Summit League regular season in the conference's preseason poll with 36 first-place votes.
