South Dakota State wraps up a three-game home stretch Saturday afternoon when it hosts in-state rival South Dakota at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits hold a 61-35 mark over the Coyotes in the all-time series, which dates back to the 1966-67 season. Since USD joined the Summit League in the 2011-12 season, SDSU is 16-14 in the series. Since 2011-12, either SDSU or USD has won the Summit League regular season and the postseason tournament 10 out of 11 years.
The Jacks are 13-5 overall and 6-0 in Summit League action following two big wins over UND and NDSU last week. SDSU is 8-1 at home this year. South Dakota is 8-9 on the year with a 4-2 Summit mark. The Coyotes lost 79-76 to North Dakota State in Vermillion Saturday. USD is 3-2 on the road this season.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State hosts in-state rival South Dakota Saturday in the latest installment of the South Dakota Showdown Series. This meeting is a rematch of last season's Summit League championship game, which USD won 56-45.
- This is the 97th all-time meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Coyotes and 31st meeting since USD joined the Summit League in the 2011-12 season. SDSU is 61-35 all-time and 16-14 when both teams are members of the Summit League.
- The Jackrabbits are 8-1 at Frost Arena this season and have won nine of their last 10 games.
- South Dakota State is 6-0 in conference action this year and picked up wins over North Dakota State and North Dakota last week.

She matched her career high of 30 points against UND on 10-of-12 shooting with seven 3-pointers.
- Myah Selland leads the Jacks with 16.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, on average. Paiton Burckhard ranks second in both categories with 10.7 points and 5.8 boards per contest. Dru Gylten averages 3.6 assists.
- 10 different Jackrabbits have scored at least 10 points in at least one contest this season. Myah Selland has 15 double-digit games while Paiton Burckhard has 12 and Haleigh Timmer has 10.
