South Dakota State wraps up a three-game home stretch Saturday afternoon when it hosts in-state rival South Dakota at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits hold a 61-35 mark over the Coyotes in the all-time series, which dates back to the 1966-67 season. Since USD joined the Summit League in the 2011-12 season, SDSU is 16-14 in the series. Since 2011-12, either SDSU or USD has won the Summit League regular season and the postseason tournament 10 out of 11 years.
The Jacks are 13-5 overall and 6-0 in Summit League action following two big wins over UND and NDSU last week. SDSU is 8-1 at home this year. South Dakota is 8-9 on the year with a 4-2 Summit mark. The Coyotes lost 79-76 to North Dakota State in Vermillion Saturday. USD is 3-2 on the road this season.
