South Dakota State kicks off the second half of the conference season Thursday night as the team hosts St. Thomas at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits enter the weekend 16-5 on the year and 9-0 in conference action. The team is on a nine game win streak and has won 12 of its last 13 contests. SDSU is 9-1 at home this year.
St. Thomas is 7-12 overall and 2-7 in Summit League play. The Tommies most recently fell to Western Illinois, but before that won two straight against Oral Roberts and Kansas City. UST is 1-9 on the road.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State returns to Brookings to host St. Thomas and Western Illinois this weekend at Frost Arena.
- SDSU enters the weekend 16-5 on the season, 9-0 in Summit League play and 9-1 at home this year.
- The Jacks are the Summit's only unbeaten team remaining in conference action. North Dakota State is next in the standings at 7-2, followed by South Dakota with a 6-3 Summit mark.
