South Dakota State enters the week looking to snap a four-match losing streak with contests at Oral Roberts and Denver. ORU's 1-4 Summit League mark matches the Jackrabbits' while Denver sits atop the league standings at 5-1.
KEY STORYLINES
- Katie Van Egdom averages 4.53 kills per set and 4.66 points per set in Summit League action. Both marks lead the league.
- Sylvie Zgonc adds 3.32 kills per set in conference contests, which ranks fifth. Entering the weekend, Van Egdom and Zgonc are the only teammates ranked in the top five in Summit League kills per set.
- Van Egdom set a new career high with 22 kills against Omaha Saturday at Frost. Rylee Martin dished 28 assists in that match, a career high for the freshman.
- Despite SDSU's 1-3 Summit League mark, the team ranks second in assists per set (12.26) and third in kills per set (13.21) in conference contests.
- Led by 4.32 digs per set from libero Stella Winterfeld, SDSU leads the Summit League in team digs per set (16.58).
- Raegen Reilly averages 9.11 assists per set in Summit matches, which is fourth in the conference. She surpassed 2,500 career assists last week.
- Of the Jackrabbits' 12 dropped sets in conference matches, seven of those have been lost by just two points.
- Raegen Reilly (15), Stella Winterfeld (14) and Sylvie Zgonc (14) lead the team in service aces overall this year.
- Sydni Schetnan and Elyse Winter have 38 total blocks on the season each, which leads the team.
