South Dakota State enters the week at 7-16 on the season with a three-match win streak. The Jacks topped North Dakota in four sets last week to take a two-game lead at sixth place in the conference standings. SDSU visits North Dakota State Thursday night before returning home to host Oral Roberts Saturday.
KEY STORYLINES
- Katie Van Egdom and Sylvie Zgonc rank second and third in the Summit League in kills per set with 3.72 and 3.67, respectively, in conference action. NDSU's Ali Hinze leads all players with 3.86 kills per set.
- The Jackrabbits have won three straight contests and went 4-4 overall in October.
- South Dakota State sits sixth in the Summit League standings with five reagular-season contests remaining.
- Masa Scheierman put together a complete match against the Fighting Hawks last week, finishing with 11 kills, seven digs, five blocks and four service aces.
- Scheierman has 11 aces over the last two matches, averaging 1.2 aces per set in that stretch.
- Led by 4.21 digs per set from libero Stella Winterfeld, SDSU leads the league in team digs per set (16.42). Winterfeld ranks third in the league in that category.

- Sydni Schetnan leads the defense with 61 total blocks on the season. Elyse Winter is just behind with 54 blocks this year.
