South Dakota State hosts Division II Washburn Tuesday evening at Frost Arena. The Jackrabbits enter the contest 3-2 on the year while Washburn is off to a 5-1 start. This is the first all-time meeting between these teams.
The Jackrabbits are coming off a 72-42 victory of South Carolina State Friday night in which
Brooklyn Meyer dropped a career-best 29 points. SDSU is 2-0 at home this year and 1-2 on the road.
Washburn has won five straight contests - most recently a record-setting 117-27 victory over Barclay College Saturday. WU is 2-0 at home, 2-0 on the road and 1-1 in neutral court games.

- Brooklyn Meyer is the reigning Summit League Peak Performer of the Week after averaging 24.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per contest last week. She dropped a career-high 29 in SDSU's win over South Carolina State Friday.
- South Dakota State is led by 18.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per contest from sophomore Brooklyn Meyer. She is one of five players in the country averaging at least 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per contest.
