South Dakota State opens Summit League action at North Dakota Sunday afternoon in Grand Forks.
UND leads the series 35-41, however SDSU has won each of the last 14 meetings. The Hawks last win was in March 2004.
SDSU is 6-5 on the season and 2-4 on the road. Four of the Jackrabbits' five losses have come to ranked teams. The team's last result was a 56-48 loss at No. 21 Creighton on December 21.
North Dakota enters the weekend 3-8 ahead of its first conference contest at St. Thomas Friday evening. The Hawks are 3-4 at home.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State opens Summit League action at North Dakota Sunday afternoon. The Jacks are 6-5 on the year with four of five losses coming to ranked teams.

- Brooklyn Meyer leads the Jackrabbits in scoring (15.4 PPG), rebounding (8.8 RPG), blocks (1.9 BPG) and field goal percentage (.519). She leads the conference in blocks and is top-four in the other three categories.
- Paige Meyer scored 14.3 points per game to go with a team-high 3.5 assists per contest. She has scored at least 10 points in all but two games this year and at least three assists in all but one game.
- Tori Nelson scores 8.3 points per game for the Jacks and ranks second on the team in assists (2.9) and steals (1.1).
- Tori Nelson matches Brooklyn Meyer's block mark of 1.9 per game and the duo shares the conference lead in that category. SDSU leads the Summit League with 4.91 team blocks per contest.
- Tori Nelson is set to play in her 136th career game Sunday, which will move her into a tie for fifth place on SDSU's career games played chart. She has started every game this year and in each of the last two seasons.
- South Dakota State is 49-1 in the Summit League regular season over the previous three seasons. State was picked to win the Summit League regular season in the conference's preseason poll with 27 first-place votes.
- SDSU's Paige Meyer and Tori Nelson were named to the Summit League's preseason first and second teams, respectively.
