South Dakota State will play the final week of the regular season on the road at Kansas City and Oral Roberts Thursday at Saturday.Â
The Jackrabbits are 23-5 on the year and 16-0 in Summit League action. SDSU's current win streak of 16 games is the fourth-longest streak in program history. The Jacks are 7-2 on the road this year.
Kansas City is 7-20 overall and 5-13 in the conference season. Most recently, KC fell 61-39 to North Dakota in Grand Forks. The Roos are 5-7 at home.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State plays the final two games of the regular season on the road this weekend at Kansas City and Oral Roberts. At 16-0 the Jacks are seeking their second unbeaten Summit season in three years.
- SDSU can become the second team in the history of the Summit League to put together an 18-0 season and the first since 1993-94 (Northern Illinois).
- SDSU has won 16 consecutive games, which is the second-longest active streak in the country.
- The Jacks lead the Summit League in a number of categories, including scoring offense (84.9), scoring defense (58.1), scoring margin (26.9), field goal percentage (.487) and rebounding (42.1).

- Paiton Burckhard is set for her 159th career game Thursday, which will tie her with Tylee Irwin (2022) for the most in program history.
- Myah Selland averages more than 16 points and six rebounds in Summit games to lead the Jackrabbits. Haleigh Timmer and Paiton Burckhard score 12.4 and 12.3 points per conference game, respectively.
- Haleigh Timmer has scored at least 10 points in every game of January and February. She's averaging 14.3 points in 2023.
- SDSU's point guard duo of Paige Meyer and Dru Gylten are two of four total players in the country averaging at least 3.3 assists in 21 minutes or fewer. Paige Meyer is the only player in the country averaging at least nine points and three assists in less than 21 minutes per contest.
- Kallie Theisen comes off the bench to contribute six points and six rebounds per game. She is averaging 10 boards over the last six contests.
- SDSU recently took over the top spot on the mid-major poll. The Jacks are receiving votes in the AP poll and the WBCA coaches' poll for the second straight week.
