23 JACKS HONORED AS ALL-SUMMIT

SIOUX FALLS, SD – South Dakota State track and field had 23 athletes recognized as 2023 Indoor Track and Field All-Summit League honorees, officials announced Thursday.
To receive the All-Summit League accolade, a student-athlete must finish in the top three in an event category at the league championship meet. The Jackrabbit men finished second at the championship meet while the women took third.
Dominick Etherington was named the Summit League Indoor Men's Field Championship MVP for winning the shot put and taking third in the weight throw.
Joseph Minor-Williams was honored as the Summit League Indoor Men's Track Championship MVP after winning the men's 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter races.
