DOMENICONE AND FOX NAMED TO ALL-ECAC TEAM

South Dakota State equestrian student-athletes Ella Domenicone and Callyn Fox were recently honored as ECAC all-conference selections.

A sophomore from Roswell, Georgia, Domenicone was named to the ECAC All-Fences Team. She finished the regular season with a 5-5 record in the event, including a 4-2 mark against conference opponents. Domenicone scored 80-plus points five times during the 2022-23 regular season, four of which came in league competition, and earned one Most Outstanding Performer award.

Fox, a senior from Center Point, Iowa, earned recognition on the ECAC All-Horsemanship Team after posting a 5-1 record against league opponents en route to a 5-5 overall mark during regular season competition. She tallied 73 points or higher six times, including four times in ECAC matchups, and was awarded one MOP honor.

The Jackrabbits completed their 2022-23 season by hosting the ECAC Equestrian Championship last weekend at the DeHaan Equestrian Center. SDSU turned in a 4-8 overall record in reaching the tournament semifinals.
