No. 1 South Dakota State takes on No. 5 Oral Roberts Monday afternoon in the semifinal round of the Summit League Tournament.
SDSU advanced through the quarterfinal with an 87-59 win over No. 8 St. Thomas Saturday afternoon. Myah Selland led the Jacks with 15 points. SDSU is 26-5 overall.
Oral Roberts topped No. 4 South Dakota 92-69 Sunday afternoon in their quarterfinal matchup. Hannah Cooper played all 40 minutes and put up 24 points for the Golden Eagles. ORU is 12-18 on the year.
KEY STORYLINES
- South Dakota State advanced to the Summit League semifinal with an 87-59 win over St. Thomas in Saturday's quarterfinal.
- The Jacks have held opponents below 60 points in nine of the last 10 outings and have posted a 20-point scoring margin in each of the last seven games.
- South Dakota State is now 26-5 on the year and wrapped the conference regular season with an 18-0 mark, the first league team to win 18 games since 1993-94.
- SDSU is 33-5 all-time in the Summit League postseason and has won nine championship trophies. The Jacks are looking to qualify for their 11th NCAA Tournament appearance.
- In the Summit season, State scored 85.4 points per game, on average, and held opponents to 58.2 points per game, for a 27-point scoring margin.

- SDSU has won 19 consecutive games, which is the third-longest active streak in the country. It also matches the longest win streak in Jackrabbit program history.
- Two-time Summit League Player of the Year Myah Selland leads the Jacks in scoring with 16.1 points per game and averages more than six rebounds, which ranks second.
- Haleigh Timmer and Paiton Burckhard also average double figures - 11.7 PPG and 10.8 PPG. Paige Meyer is just behind them with 9.8 PPG.
- Haleigh Timmer has scored at least 10 points in every game of January and February. She's averaging more than 14 points in 2023.
- Kallie Theisen, the Summit League Sixth Woman of the Year, comes off the bench to contribute six points, six rebounds and one block per game.
- South Dakota State ranks fifth in the NCAA in scoring margin (18.1), seventh in field goal percentage (47.6) and eighth in rebounding margin (10.2).
