FRITZE TO COMPETE TUESDAY AT NCAA ZONES

MINNEAPOLIS — South Dakota State diver Spencer Fritze is slated to compete Tuesday on the 1-meter board at the 2023 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.
A senior from Park Rapids, Minnesota, Fritze is one of 30 divers expected to compete in the event, which begins at 11 a.m. at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the University of Minnesota campus. Divers will perform six dives in the opening round, with the top 18 advancing to the championship round later in the day.
Fritze qualified for Zones with a score of 308.55 in a dual meet against St. Cloud State on Jan. 13.
