BEAUMONT, Texas - The South Dakota State women's golf team will take part in its final tournament of the regular season Monday and Tuesday - the Lamar Cardinal Challenge at the Beaumont Country Club.

Jackrabbit lineup consists of Piper Stubbs, Shakira-Ann Kuys, Alex Kandolin, McKenzie Mages and Tatum Depuydt. Stubbs has led the Jacks in each of the last three tournaments, most recently at the Babs Steffens Invitational.

Stubbs is averaging just more than 75 shots per round in the spring season. SDSU struggled in its more recent outing, posting a season-worst 960 (+96) team score, but tallied a season-best 899 (+35) at the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational two weeks prior.

The Jacks will join six other schools in the Lone Star State. The tournament starts with 36 holes Monday followed by the final 18 Tuesday morning.
