South Dakota State will host five regular season competitions during the upcoming 2023-24 equestrian season.

The bulk of the home events will be in the first half of the season, starting Oct. 6-7 when Fresno State and South Carolina make their way to the DeHaan Equestrian Center for head-to-head competitions.

SDSU, which compiled a 4-8 record in head-to-head competition last season, closes out the fall slate by hosting ECAC rivals Minnesota Crookston and UC Davis Nov. 3-4.

The Jackrabbits' lone away competition during the fall is Oct. 12 at UT Martin.

After nearly a two-month layoff, SDSU returns to competition with a trip to Dallas, Texas, Jan. 26-27 for matchups against Delaware State and defending national champion SMU.

The final home competition of the season is set for Feb. 10 against Minnesota Crookston, with road dates at returning national qualifiers Georgia (March 1) and South Carolina (March 2) slated to close out the regular season.

Defending ECAC champion UC Davis is scheduled to host the league championships March 25-27.

Fans can get an early look at the 2023-24 Jackrabbit equestrian team when the squad hosts its Yellow & Blue Scrimmage on Sept. 16. Starting times for all events will be announced at a later date.
