SDSU scored a season-low point total of 26 in the first half, then followed with a season-high second half output of 56 points before falling short. Both teams shot 45%, but ORU took advantage of a 10-6 edge in turnovers forced and connected on more opportunities from the free throw line and from deep.
Â
The Jackrabbits were paced in the contest by
Zeke Mayo who scored 23 points. It was his fourth game of 20-plus points in Summit League play. Mayo averages 18.3 points and is tied for a team-lead with
William Kyle III at 6.1 rebounds. Scoring double digits this season for SDSU are Kyle III (13.3),
Charlie Easley (11.2) and
