The Jackrabbits are 4-2 on the season with losses to then-No. 16 Duke and Georgia Tech. SDSU most recently topped No. 21 Oregon 75-70 Tuesday afternoon at the North Shore Showcase behind 21 points from
Brooklyn Meyer. Ball State (5-2) returns home to Worthen Arena following a 1-2 week at the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. Most recently, Ball State fell 69-62 to Columbia. The Cardinals have five players averaging at least 10 points per game, led by 14.3 points per game from Madelyn Bischoff.
The teams are nearly even in scoring output with the Cardinals scoring 72.7 points per game and the Jacks scoring 70.5 points, on average. Ball State's defense holds opponents to 62.7 points per game while SDSU's allows 67.8.

Mesa Byom made her first start of the year against Oregon. She adds 7.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest and has knocked down a 3-pointer in all six games this year.
Madysen Vlastuin made her first appearances of the season in Hawaii following a season-ending injury in 2023-24. She scored 11 points - including a 3-for-3 effort from beyond the arc - against Oregon Tuesday afternoon. Vlastuin averages 6.5 points over two games played to round out SDSU's top-five scorers.
