BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State completes its three-game homestand on Saturday when the Jackrabbits host Oral Roberts in Frost Arena. The contest tips off at 3 p.m. and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

The Jacks return to the court for the first time in nearly a week after defeating in-state rival South Dakota, 70-67, last Sunday. SDSU led for over 33 minutes in the contest and made 17 of its 22 free throws to close out the season sweep over the Coyotes. SDSU's
Eric Henderson picked up his 100th win as head coach with the victory in the midst of his fifth season.Â

South Dakota State was led in scoring in the game by
William Kyle III who recorded 16 points. His double-digit point effort was his 11th straight and 12th in his last 13 games. He also had a career-high five blocks which tied for the second most ever by a Jackrabbit in the Division I era.Â

Luke Appel followed Kyle III with 15 points. He did most of his work at the free throw line with career highs of seven made on 10 attempted. Appel also had a career-high 11 rebounds for his first double-double this season. Joining him in double digits scoring in the contest were
Charlie Easley and
Zeke Mayo with 12 points apiece.

SDSU sits a half game back in The Summit League standings from first place with its 6-3 mark in conference play. The Jackrabbits narrowly trail North Dakota's 7-3 record. After winning three consecutive contests, Oral Roberts dropped an 85-63 matchup at St. Thomas on Thursday. The Golden Eagles are tied for fourth in The Summit League with a 5-5 mark.

Oral Roberts won the first meeting in Tulsa over SDSU, 87-82, on Jan. 27. The Golden Eagles led 37-26 at the halftime break before SDSU got the margin back into single possessions. The Jacks trailed 44-42 and 47-45, but a three-point play pushed ORU ahead with 13:14 to play. Mayo scored 23 points in the loss for the Jackrabbits.Â

The Golden Eagles are 11-12 this season. They are led in scoring by Issac McBride (20.4 PPG). He's joined in double digits by Jailen Bedford (14.3), Kareem Thompson (12.8) and DeShang Weaver (10.5).Â
