South Dakota State hosts Kansas City Saturday afternoon at First Bank & Trust Arena.Â
The Jackrabbits have a 13-3 overall record and 3-0 mark in Summit League action. SDSU is the only team with three wins heading into Saturday. The Jacks are coming off a 93-55 victory over Omaha Thursday night in which the team scored a season-high 93 points and shot above 50 percent for the sixth time this year.
Brooklyn Meyer went over 1,000 points for her career in that game.Â
Kansas City is 5-12 on the season and 1-1 in the Summit League. The Roos beat St. Thomas in St. Paul last week, then fell to North Dakota at home in KC. Emani Bennett averages 15.0 points per game, followed by Alayna Contreras with 14.0 points per game.

- South Dakota State is coming off a 2-0 week on the road to open Summit League action. The Jacks won 81-76 in Tulsa, then dominated the final three quarters at Denver for a 79-43 victory.
- The Jackrabbits have won nine of their last 10 matchups, including a run of seven straight during the non-conference season.

- Brooklyn Meyer sits at 994 points for her career. She is six points shy of becoming the 43rd player to score 1,000 points as a Jackrabbit. She would be the second current Jackrabbit to reach 1,000, joining Paige Meyer.
- Freshman Katie Vasecka scored a career-high 21 points off the bench at Oral Roberts. She was 8-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. She is the first freshman to score at least 20 in a game for the Jackrabbits since Haleigh Timmer and Paige Meyer both did it during the 2021-22 slate.
- SDSU has won 49 straight Summit League regular season games and 42 consecutive games against Summit League opponents (including postseason contests). The Jackrabbits are 67-1 in the Summit League regular season dating back to the beginning of the 2020-21 season.
