South Dakota State and Omaha kick off the second half of the Summit season at Baxter Arena Saturday afternoon in Omaha. These teams have already met this year, with the Jackrabbits winning 93-55 at First Bank & Trust Arena back on January 8.
The Jackrabbits are 18-3 on the season with an 8-0 mark in Summit League action. Following the first half of conference games, SDSU leads the Summit in a number of categories, including scoring margin (18.0 PPG), field goal percentage (.511), rebounding margin (9.9 RPG) and assist/turnover ratio (1.46).
Omaha is 9-12 on the season with only a 1-7 mark in conference games. Since topping North Dakota in their Summit opener, the Mavericks have dropped seven straight contests. Omaha scores 61.3 PPG and gives up 76.3 PPG, both the worst marks in the conference.
