SIOUX FALLS — The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving team opened the second and final day of the Coyote Invitational by winning the 200-yard medley relay, then received individual wins later on Saturday from Gigi Hioki, Braylynn Moore and Anna Mei Castro to wrap up their final regular season competition of the season.

The quartet of Jenna Currier, Emma Schultz, Isabella Gnewuch and Hioki combined for a winning time of 1 minute, 44.23 seconds to claim the 200 medley relay. Hioki would go on to claim the final individual title of the night in the 200 butterfly, 2:05.46, and also placed second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.15 seconds.

Teammate Poppy Mead placed third in the 200 fly, 2:09.85, and fourth in the 100-yard race, 58.32 seconds.

Moore was one on only two competitors — both Jackrabbits — in the 1,650 freestyle and touched the wall first in 18:31.23. Schultz was second in 19:59.77 and added a third-place time of 1:06.37 in the 100 breaststroke.

Currier contributed a fourth-place showing in the 200 breaststroke, 2:28.06.

Castro, meanwhile, turned in a strong day in the diving well, winning the 3-meter competition with 239.95 points and taking second on the 1-meter board with a score of 221.30 points.

No team scores were recorded in the meet held at the Midco Aquatic Center.
