South Dakota State returns to Brookings Saturday to host South Dakota in the second Interstate Series contest of the season. SDSU won the first meeting of the year 77-59 on January 25 in Vermillion. The Jackrabbits are at the top of the conference standings while the Coyotes sit sixth.
The contest will feature the top-two 3-point shooting teams in the conference as SDSU makes 8.6 3-pointers per game and USD make 7.4, on average.
The Jackrabbits are 22-3 on the season with an unbeaten 12-0 record in the Summit League. Their defense allows only 60.8 points per conference game and have a 19.0 PPG average scoring margin, both the best marks in the League. The Coyotes are 11-15 overall and 4-7 in conference games. USD is 1-7 on the road this year. They are led by Grace Larkins, who paces the Coyotes in scoring, rebounds, assists and steals.

- Paige Meyer leads the Summit League with 6.1 assists per game in conference action. She has eight Summit games with at least five assists. Meyer scored or assisted on 37 of 68 Jackrabbit points at NDSU Wednesday night.
- The Jacks have three players that have scored at least 1,000 career points - Paige Meyer, Brooklyn Meyer and Haleigh Timmer. Three others have scored at least 600 points - Kallie Theisen, Madison Mathiowetz and Mesa Byom.
- SDSU's .479 overall field goal percentage ranks ninth in country. The Jackrabbits have shot at least 50 percent 12 times this season.
- The Jackrabbits have won at least 20 games in 14 consecutive seasons. Coach Johnston has only three seasons without 20 wins on his resume in his 25 year career.
- SDSU has won 59 straight Summit League regular season games. That streak ranks top 10 in NCAA history for consecutive regular season conference victories. The Jacks are 77-1 in the Summit League regular season going back to the beginning of the 2020-21 season.
