South Dakota State and North Dakota meet for the second time this season Wednesday, this time in Grand Forks. The Jackrabbits won the first meeting of the year 87-73 behind a 30-point game from
Brooklyn Meyer.
The Jackrabbits are 19-3 on the season with a 9-0 mark in Summit League action. Following the first half of conference games, SDSU leads the Summit in a number of categories, including scoring margin (19.3 PPG), field goal percentage (.509), rebounding margin (9.9 RPG) and assist/turnover ratio (1.6).
North Dakota is 8-14 on the season with a 3-6 mark in conference games, which has them seventh in the standings. The Hawks have lost each of their last four games with their last win coming January 15 at home against South Dakota.
The Jacks and the Hawks are 1-2 on the both Summit League's team field goal percentage and opponent field goal percentage charts. SDSU shoot .509 on the year, ranking first, and UND shoots .472 as a team, ranking second. The teams flip for the opponent field goal list. UND leads the way with a .406 opponent field goal percentage while the Jacks rank second at .408.
