South Dakota State and Oral Roberts meet for the second time this season Saturday morning as the Jackrabbits host the Goldean Eagles in Brookings. The Jackrabbits won the first meeting of the year 81-76 in Tulsa.
The Jackrabbits are 20-3 on the season with a 10-0 mark in Summit League action. The Golden Eagles are 18-5 overall and 8-2 in the conference. Both teams score 80.0 points per game in league play, tied at the top of the conerence, however the Jackrabbits' scoring margin of 19.5 PPG tops ORU's 9.2 PPG.
KEY STORYLINES
- SDSU hosts ORU this week in a clash at the top of the Summit League standings. The Jackrabbits are 10-0 in conference action while the Eagles are 8-2.
- The Jackrabbits are hosting their annual Girls & Women in Sports celebration Saturday with pregame activities, in-game recognition and postgame autographs with the team.
- SDSU hung on to win 81-76 the first time these teams played. Freshman Katie Vasecka scored a career-high 21 points for the Jackrabbits.
- SDSU is the No. 1 team in the College Insider Mid-Major Poll, No. 25 in the Coaches Poll and is receiving votes in the AP Poll this week.

- Haleigh Timmer became the 44th member of SDSU's 1,000 point club at UND Wednesday. She joins Paige Meyer and Brooklyn Meyer as active Jackrabbits with 1,000 career points.
- Paige Meyer dishes 5.7 assists per game in Summit League action, which is second in the conference. She has six conference games with at least five assists.
- South Dakota State's .476 overall field goal percentage ranks 11th in country. The Jackrabbits have shot at least 50 percent ten times this season.
- The Jackrabbits have won at least 20 games in 14 consecutive seasons. Coach Johnston has only three seasons without 20 wins on his resume in his 25 year career.
- SDSU has won 57 straight Summit League regular season games. That streak ranks top 10 in NCAA history for consecutive regular season conference victories.
