COLUMBIA, Mo. - South Dakota State men's golf finished in 16th place at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Missouri, which wrapped Tuesday at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
The Jackrabbits fired a +4 tally as a team over the final lap and finished with a +50 score over three rounds. Mizzou finished even par overall, including a tournament-best 5-under for round three, to win its home event.
Ty Kretz tallied a 73 (+1) for his final 18 holes and finished in a tie for 40th place with a +9 overall scorecard.
Drew Teeter also went 1-over on the last round and finished in a tie for 63rd place (+13).
Bryson Mercier was one shot behind Teeter and tied for 68th place.
Tyler Seeling (+17, t-80th place) and
Blake Schaper (+31, t-96th place) rounded out SDSU's lineup.
Mizzou's Mattias Varjun won the individual title with a -4 final scorecard.
NOTES
Kretz has been the Jackrabbits' top finisher in seven of eight events this season.
