SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's
Mia Bosch was selected as the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, conference officials announced Tuesday, for her performance against St. Thomas last Thursday.Â
Bosch recorded a goal and an assist to help lead the Jackrabbits to a 6-0 win over St. Thomas in their Summit League opener. The score marked Bosch's third of the season. The Thunder Bay, Ontario, native paced SDSU with three points and six shots on the night, scoring in the 25th minute to push South Dakota State's lead to 2-0 before adding an assist seven minutes later. The sophomore midfielder logged 49 minutes in the dominant win.
The weekly honor was the first of Bosch's tenure at SDSU.
Jenna Maloy was picked as the Offensive Peak Performer last week, while
Mallorie Benhart has been chosen as the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week on three occasions.Â
South Dakota State hosts two matches at Fishback Soccer Park this week. The Jackrabbits take on North Dakota at 7 p.m. on Thursday, while SDSU faces NDSU at 1 p.m. on Sunday.Â
