IOWA CITY, Iowa – South Dakota State senior
Tyler Seeling is in fourth place after the opening two rounds of the Hawkeye Invitational, which was played Monday at the Blue Top Ridge at Riverside Golf Course.
Seeling fired a -3 two-round score and tallied nine birdies. He is 10 shots off the top of the leaderboard.
The Jackrabbits are tied for third place as a team with a +5 score, 14 shots behind South Carolina in second place.
Jacob Wilson is in a tie for 14th place and is 1-over after 36 holes.
Bryson Mercier and
Jake Olson are both +5 overall and tied for 31st place.
Ty Adkins is two shots back (+7) in a tie for 43rd.
Host Iowa leads the field with an 11-under team score. Summit League foes Kansas City, Omaha, North Dakota State and South Dakota are in 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th place, respectively.
NOTES
- SDSU leads all teams on par-5 holes, averaging 4.67 shots.
- Tyler Seeling is averaging 4.25 shots per par-5 hole, the most among all participating players.
