SUMMIT LEAGUE RELEASES BASKETBALL SCHEDULES

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League announced its men's and women's basketball schedules for the upcoming 2026-27 season on Thursday. Both slates begin following the New Year and will feature a 14-game, home-and-home mirrored schedule between the league's eight men's and women's programs.
Travel partners will consist of Kansas City and Oral Roberts, North Dakota and North Dakota State, Omaha and St. Thomas, along with South Dakota and South Dakota State.
The first games are set for Thursday, Jan. 7. The Jackrabbit women's team open conference play at home by hosting Kansas City. SDSU's women's squad will play its first three league games at home before hitting the road.
South Dakota State's men's team will play its conference home opener on Thursday, Jan. 21, against North Dakota State.
The SDSU women's team's final home game of its regular season will take place on Saturday, Feb. 20, versus North Dakota State. The Jackrabbits' men's squad will close out the regular season in First Bank & Trust Arena with the finale slated for Saturday, Feb. 27, against St. Thomas.
The Summit League Basketball Championships return to Sioux Falls for the 18th-consecutive year and take place in the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The tournament is scheduled to begin on March 4 and crown men's and women's champions on Sunday, March 7.
