The Jacks head to Manhattan, Kansas, to compete in the Powercat Classic hosted by Kansas State. The Jacks are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Johnie Imes Invitational and will look to continue their strong form as they tee off in Manhattan.

COURSE INFORMATION
On May 1, 2000, golfing celebrities Lee Trevino, Raymond Floyd, Annika Sorenstam, and Deb Richard joined their host, K-State's Jim Colbert, for the opening drives, chips, and putts on the Colbert Hills Golf Course. Now 20 years later, the facility is recognized as Kansas' premier public golf layout by Golf Digest, while Golf & Leisure and Maximum Golf have recognized Colbert Hills as one of the top 100 golf values in the United States. Roughly 375,00 rounds have been played on the championship course since it opened, plus another 75,000 on the Par 3 Course.
The signature hole of Colbert Hills is the 600-yard No. 7 that includes a 90-foot drop from the tee to the fairway, with white premium sand bunkers decorating the stretch of green zoysia fairway all the way to the bent grass green. Each hole has five different tees, while the greens average 10,000 square feet. Colbert Hills has hosted the 2002 Big 12 Women's Championship, the 2003 NCAA Men's Central Regional and the 2005 Kansas Men's Amateur Championship.
OF NOTE…
- The Jackrabbits lead the field at the Johnie Imes Invitational in eagles with hole outs from senior Hannah Boraas on hole 14, in round one, and freshman Olivia Braun on hole 15, in round three.
- This is the first tournament the Jacks will attend this year without another Summit League team competing alongside them.
The Jackrabbits women's golf team finished fourth at the Johnie Imes Invitational on Tuesday after playing the final 18 holes.
The Jackrabbits finished day two in fourth place with a team score of 900 (+36). Hosts Missouri took home the title on their home course, finishing with a team score of 842 (-22). SDSU finished 27 strokes better than Summit League rivals, South Dakota, who finished fifth with a 927 (+63).
Hannah Boraas led the Jacks, bouncing back from a tough performance at the Redbird Invitational to finish tied for 12th overall. She finished Tuesday shooting 74 (+2) and racking up four birdies. She finished her three rounds with a combined score of 221 (+5). Molly O'Hara finishes tied for 16th overall, putting together a 227 (+11) overall score through three rounds. She shot a 77 (+5) during her final round, with a birdie on hole one. Rylan Horning finished just one stroke behind her, tied for 19th overall, shooting a 228 (+12) through three rounds. Riko Danjo and Olivia Braun rounded out the Jackrabbit lineup, shooting a 231 (+15) and a 235 (+19), respectively. The finish tied for 25th and tied for 32nd. Samantha Stites, competing as an individual, finished 49th after shooting a 251 (+35) through the two days.
