OUTDOOR: Appeared in five meets participating in the 800, 1,500 meters, and the 3,000 meter steeplechase...set a new personal best time in the steeplechase at the Sioux City Relays in 11:57.42...recorded season best marks in the 800 meters (2:30.82) and the 1,500 meters (5:05.77) both at the Kip Janvrin Open.
INDOOR: Competed in five meets participating in the mile and 3,000 meters...paced her way to a personal best in the 3,000 meters at the SDSU Indoor Classic with a time of 10:46.94...added another personal best in the mile at the SDSU Last Chance with a time of 5:22.60.

OUTDOOR: Covered race distances ranging from 800 to 5000 including a debut in the 3000m steeplechase where she improved upon her previous mark in each of her three attempts as the distance, highlight by a 12:26.5 at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays (May 4)… Set a personal best of 5:14.41 for 1500 at the South Dakota Challenge (April 6)…and ran a 5k track PR of 20:11.81 at the Sioux City Relays (April 13)
INDOOR: A consistent performer in the mile and the 800 for the Jackrabbits…best performance in the mile was 5:43.65 at the UND-SDSU Dual (Jan 12)…season best performance in the 800 was 2:31.37 at the SDSU Indoor Classic (Feb 9)…

BEFORE SDSU: Dergan and her team won the Nebraska State Cross Country Championships in 2017 and placed ninth in the Heartland Regional competition ... has PR’s of: 800m (2:27.1), 1,600m (5:35.25), 3,200m (11:57.57), 5,000m (19:50.8) ... named to the All-Metro Academic team for cross country and track and field during the 2017-18 seasons ... was an honorable mention for the All-State Academic team during the 2017-18 season ... a member of the National Honor Society in 2017-18 and earned an Academic Letter from 2014-18.
