Brodie Hullinger has served as an assistant golf coach for the Jackrabbits since summer 2021 and is entering his fourth season in that role.Â
Since his 2008 graduation from South Dakota State, Hullinger has continued to compete in an amateur capacity. He is a three-time SDGA champion and nine-time runner-up. He is also a four-time USGA Championship qualifier, playing in the 2009 USGA State Team Championship, the 2011 USGA Public Links and qualifying for match play, and the 2013 and 2019 USGA Mid Amateurs.
Prior to coaching for the Jacks, Hullinger served as President of the Jackrabbits Golf Club. He spearheaded planning and fundraising for the construction of The Rabbit Patch at the Brookings Country Club.Â
Hullinger is a native of Vivian, South Dakota and is a graduate of Lyman High School. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business economics and a minor in accounting from SDSU.
Coach Hullinger's wife, Kelly Evans Hullinger, is also a Jackrabbit golf alumnus. They reside in Brookings with their twin daughters, Teddy and Zoey.Â
