Sonja Anderson joined the South Dakota State University staff in April of 2008 as the women’s equipment manager overseeing the equipment and apparel for the women student-athletes, coaches and staff.
Anderson works primarily with the women’s basketball, soccer, volleyball, women’s swimming and diving and softball and other sports as needed.
A Garvin, Minn., native, Anderson earned her associate’s degree in horticulture from the University of Minnesota Technical College in 1984, a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from South Dakota State in 1987 and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from SDSU in 1990.
The longtime Jackrabbit fan resides in Brookings.
