FINDLAY, Ohio - South Dakota State Western rider Amy Mandelke earned Reserve Grand Champion honors over the weekend at the IHSA Western Semifinal show in Findlay, Ohio, which qualifies her for the IHSA National Finals on May 5-8, in Lexington, Ky.
Mandelke and Hillery Baysinger both competed in novice horsemanship and both made the call back for the event. Baysinger placed eighth, and did not advance to the finals.
