SDSU competed in its second competition in two days in Fort Wayne, with one remaining on Monday.
The Jacks dropped the doubles point with losses at No. 2 and No. 3. James Thorp and Parker Lawley teamed up for an exciting victory at No. 1, 8-7 (7-5), but it was too little, too late.
In singles, Lawley continued to play well, taking the first set 7-5 at No. 3 before dropping the second set. The match was suspended in the second game of the third set due to a team decision being reached.
Along with Lawley, No. 5 and No. 6 singles did not finish.
