OMAHA – The South Dakota State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Omaha Sunday afternoon.

Emerson Styles and Marco Paulo Castro won No. 1 doubles, but it wasn't enough as the Mavericks captured the doubles point.

Castro won at No. 4 with a 6-1, 6-3 decision.

Alberto Gonzalez Raton claimed a point for the Jacks at No. 6 with a 1-0 win due to forfeit.

Alexander Reinke was close to a win in a three-match loss (4-6, 6-1, 6-2) at No. 3.
