Jacks sweep UW-Green Bay in season debut

GREEN BAY, WIS. -- South Dakota State swept Wisconsin-Green Bay, 7-0 in its season debut Saturday.
"We had some nerves in double," head coach Michael Engdahl said. "You could tell when we got to singles we were able to focus on the things we've been preaching in practice."
In doubles, Jenny Blackburne and Ffion Davies won 6-3, while Florencia Magni and Iasmin Rosa won 6-1 and Beatriz Souza and Tacy Haws-Lay won 6-3.
Rosa, Blackburne, Souza and Haws-Lay al won their singles matches, 6-0, 6-0. Magni and Davies won 6-2, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-2, respecively.
SDSU returns to action tomorrow at Minnesota.
