The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving team opens Summit League action hosting in-state rival South Dakota on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stanley J. Marshall Pool.

The Jacks opened their season hosting Nebraska on Oct. 14 falling, 212-88.
 Kristin Erf won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.92, while Senior Alexandra Yaeger was victorious with a first place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time in 2:13.33.

Freshman Daniela Santillan made her debut as a Jackrabbit placing first in the 500 freestyle in 5:13.62.

The team of Samantha Prasher, Erf, Alexandra Spinner and Ashley Theobald took second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:48.59.
