BROOKINGS, S.D.—The South Dakota State women's basketball team will be helping to raise awareness of breast cancer with its Think Pink game vs. Denver Thursday at 7 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
- The Jackrabbits, who have won their last seven games, have the 21st-longest win streak in the NCAA.
- Thursday's game will be televised live regionally on Midco Sports Net (626 HD channel, standard channel 26) and on ESPN3 (http://es.pn/1PYMHee). Tom Nieman will call the play-by-play, Brad Newitt will provide the color commentary and Dave Brown will be reporting from the sidelines.
- The Jackrabbits, 21-4 overall and 11-1 in league play, are tied for first place with South Dakota in the latest Summit League standings.
- SDSU has won its last five home games and 12 of its last 13 games overall, dating to a 58-45 win at Bowling Green Dec. 21.
- All-Summit League candidate Macy Miller led four Jackrabbits in double-figure scoring with 18 points, 6 assists and 3 steals in the 92-64 win over Fort Wayne Feb. 13.
- Denver is tied for seventh in The Summit League standings with records of 4-22 overall and 2-11 in league games. The Pioneers enter Thursday's game having lost nine-straight games and 14 of their last 16 games, including a 67-54 decision vs. IUPUI Feb. 14.

- SDSU will wear pink Under Armour pink jerseys to show support and raise awareness for breast cancer Thursday. The jerseys will be auctioned live after the games with proceeds benefitting the Edith Sanford Breast Foundation. Last year, the Jackrabbits raised over $4,000 for the Foundation with the jerseys being sold for between $125 and $775.
- With a win Thursday, SDSU head coach Aaron Johnston would pass former Youngstown State head coach Ed DiGregorio (1992-2001) for fifth on The Summit League games coached list. Both coaches have 148 Summit League victories. Oral Roberts' Jerry Finkbeiner (1997-2012) coached the most league games with 240.
