BROOKINGS, S.D.—With just two games left in the regular season, the South Dakota State women's basketball team travels to Indianapolis Thursday for a 6 p.m. game at IUPUI.
- The Jackrabbits, 22-5 overall and 12-2 in league play, are in second in latest The Summit League standings.
- SDSU has won six of its last seven road games, is 7-2 on the road this year, but needs to snap a three-game losing streak at IUPUI.
- All-Summit League candidate Ellie Thompson led four Jackrabbits in double-figure scoring with a game-high 21 points and 5 rebounds in an 80-75 loss at South Dakota Feb. 20.
- IUPUI, 19-8 overall and 10-4 in league play, enters the game third in The Summit League standings, has a five-game home win streak, and has won 6 of its last 10 outings.
- In their last game, the Jaguars defeated in-state rival Fort Wayne, 63-52, Feb. 21.
