GAME 18: South Dakota State [13-4, 4-1] at Oral Roberts [10-7, 2-2] |
The South Dakota State women's basketball team returns to the road Saturday when it plays at Oral Roberts at 12:30 p.m. in the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Okla.
The Jackrabbits enter the game ranked No. 6 in the latest CollegeInsider Mid-Major poll while Oral Roberts is receiving votes.
SDSU is in a three-way tie for first in the Summit League standings with records of 13-4 overall and 4-1 in league play.
The Jackrabbits improved to 7-1 this season in Frost Arena Wednesday with a 68-49 win over IUPUI.
Kerri Young led four Jacks in double digits in scoring with a game-high 20 points.
Oral Roberts lost its last two games, including 69-47 to South Dakota Wednesday. The Golden Eagles are 10-7 overall and 2-2 in the league and fifth in The Summit League standings.
Saturday's game is the 18th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Golden Eagles. State leads the all-time series, 11-6, has won the last six games in the series and is 3-4 on the road vs. ORU.

- South Dakota State sports a 5-3 overall road record, but is 1-1 in Summit League play. The Jacks defeated North Dakota State, but lost at South Dakota.
- South Dakota State is 58-19 (.753) all-time in Summit League road games and has won 9 of its last 13 road contests. Last year, it went 6-2 in league road contests.
- The Jackrabbits are 233-81 (.742) in all-time games since joining The Summit League in 2007-08.
