Tennis Closes Fall Season at Regionals

The South Dakota State men's and women's tennis team closed the fall season at the ITA Central Regionals on Friday.

For the women, Morgan Brower dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision to Alessandra Thompson and Theodora Kyriakopoulou fell to Middlebrooks of Missouri, 6-1, 6-2.

On the men's side, Emerson Styles and Chuck Tang were topped 8-3 by Erhart and Boyer of Nebraska.

Marco Paulo Castro lost a 6-4, 7-6 mark to Casanovas of UMKC, while Elliot Ward was upended by Krizaj of Nebraska, 2-6, 6-3, 10-5. Aidan DeBoer fell to Hjelm of Oral Roberts, 7-6, 6-2. Styles was topped by Razvan Grigorescu, 6-4, 6-3. Carlos Martinez and Henrique Stemmer lost their matches as well.
