ROCKFORD, Ill. – The South Dakota State men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Wright State Saturday morning at Boylan Tennis Center.

Emerson Styles and Chuck Tang defeated Fernando Nardelli and Jacob Perkins 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. Lucas Pereira and Marco Paulo Castro won a 6-2 decision over Javier Alvarez de la Villa and Donovan Cellupica-Towers to capture the doubles point for SDSU.

Pereira beat Carlos Estrada Sanchez 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles.

Elliot Ward won his match at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 mark over Jason Halloway.

The Jacks return to the court at 5 p.m. for a match against Northern Illinois.
